The Region 12 Field Trial Association, an affiliate of Amateur Field Trial Clubs of America (AFTCA) is organized to provide leadership and coordination for field trial and bird dog clubs within Arizona and New Mexico. Dues paying members of the AFTCA within Region 12 are also members of Region 12. Affiliations are also in effect with AKC and NSTRA clubs within the Region.

We are currently sanctioned three Amateur Championships per year, Amateur Shooting Dog, Amateur All Age and Amateur Walking Shooting Dog by the AFTCA. We are currently working toward adding All Age Qualifying Trials to many of the weekend trials throughout the region.
